18 As he was walking along the Sea of Galilee, he saw two brothers, Simon (who is called Peter), and his brother Andrew. They were casting a net into the sea—for they were fishermen. 19 “Follow me,” he told them, “and I will make you fish for people

 20 Immediately they left their nets and followed him. 21 Going on from there, he saw two other brothers, James the son of Zebedee, and his brother John. They were in a boat with Zebedee their father, preparing their nets, and he called them. 22 Immediately they left the boat and their father and followed him.

    When the first disciples came to know Jesus, the Son of God, they left everything behind to follow Him. They followed Him not just for their own good, but to share the Good News with others.

    Following Jesus is not just something you do at church on Sunday. Following Him comes before all else in our lives. Following Him in everything means living according to His will and not our own. When we come to truly know Jesus, we can’t help but to tell others.
